New public sculptures inspired by dandelions will soon appear along Salem Parkway and the Church Street Bridge as part of Winston-Salem’s “City of Arts in Bloom" initiative.

The County’s infant mortality rate is higher than the state and national averages at 9.2 deaths for every 1,000 live births.

The money will support twelve community-based organizations across the state.
