Internationally renowned pianist Ang Li discusses the relationship between classical and contemporary music as well as the breadth of her expertise.

The Music Academy of North Carolina makes music performance accessible to everyone in our community. The non-profit community music school strives to keep the cost of music lessons affordable. They also offer the highest quality music education and events to their students.  Internationally renowned pianist and Music Academy faculty Ang Li provides a case in point.  The school is partnering with High Point Theatre for Ang's upcoming November concert: China to Chopin, With Love.

The concert is Tuesday night, November 11th at 7:30pm in High Point Theatre.  The concert features music for listeners of all ages. There will be a North Carolina premiere of Es ist genug! by Jérôme Blais, music by Frédéric Chopin, traditional Chinese folk-songs arranged for solo piano, Claude Debussy's Children's Corner and more.  Asking for or entering the donation code “MANC” when purchasing your tickets will send $5 of your ticket price to support The Music Academy.
