North Carolina native, and UNC at Greensboro alumnus Scott Whittemore has spent the past 8 and a half years performing full time at Walt Disney World where you can find him at Pioneer Hall playing various roles.

But this month, Scott brings the North Carolina debut of his One Man Show “Dance for Grandma” to the Triad.

The performance is Saturday night, January 24th at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm in the Stephen D. Hyers Studio Theater, 200 North Davie Street. It's part of the Greensboro Fringe Festival.

The actor, ukulele player, and singer/songwriter spoke with David by phone from his home in Ocoee, Florida. He discusses the original music in the show and the inspiration provided by his own grandmother.
