The Central Intelligence Agency has come under scrutiny multiple times in the past two decades, over the use of enhanced interrogation techniques and drones against people suspected of terrorism.

As a new Showtime documentary points out, those who have led the agency have struggled with the ethics of those tactics.

“The Spymasters: CIA in the Crosshairs” features the 12 living CIA directors talking about the decisions they’ve had to make.

Chris Whipple, writer and co-executive producer of “The Spymasters,” speaks with Here & Now’s Indira Lakshmanan about the film, which premieres this coming Saturday.
