The Hiddenite Arts and Heritage Center is located in the Hiddenite community (named for the mineral and gemstone found there) of Alexander County. The Center has been providing arts and cultural heritage programming for 34 years.

On Saturday, September 26th, the Center presents its annual Celebration of the Arts. The all-ages event is free, open to the public, and runs from 9am to 4pm. There will be music, food, folk life demonstrations, art in action activities, and more.
