The influence of South Korean pop-culture is rippling across parts of the United States, again. Last year, artist Psy flooded dance clubs and network television with the rhythmic-sway of his song, Gangnam Style.  And last week, the Korean girl’s group, f(x), performed in an Austin, Texas, club. In her Radio 101 essay, Greensboro resident Jordan-Grier discovers the international economic importance of the Korean Wave phenomenon.Jordan-Grier produced this story with assistance from WFDD Senior Producer Kathryn Mobley and Radio 101 Instructor Lopa Shah. WFDD's Education Initiative Coordinator is Greg Keener.
