GCS Magnet Program Fair Kickoff
Saturday, January 26, the Guilford County School System will host its Magnet Programs Fair. Kelly Hales is the executive director of federal and special programs with Guilford County Schools. She says students can choose from 53 programs to find an area of study that excites them. “Anything through our performing arts, our STEM program or our Early College programs. It provides families choices to best meet students’ needs for them to be academically successful.” Parents and students can get applications for a magnet program Saturday during the Guilford County School Magnet Fair Saturday, January 26, at Showplace in High Point from 9 am.-12:30 p. In case of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled for next Monday, Jan. 28 at the same place from 5-7 p.m.
