An accreditation agency has officially taken Salem Academy and College off probation. 

Salem Academy and College has been deemed compliant in three of four requirements cited when an accreditation committee placed the school on probation a year ago.

As Bennett College in Greensboro moves forward in its fight to save its accreditation, some students are demanding accountability from school leaders.

Bennett College has filed a lawsuit against the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges after the loss of its appeal to save its accreditation. The school will remain accredited during legal proceedings.
