Some nursing homes have switched to treating only COVID-19 patients, who bring in more government money. But to make room for them, the original residents are forced out of places they've called home.
The report comes as the government announced all states must now meet federal reporting guidelines. The type of information gathered by states up to now has been inconsistent.
West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice said there have been discrepancies in data from the homes, and wants even those already checked to be retested.
