Bill Schermerhorn is a two-time Emmy Award-winning songwriter who has created original material for performers including Julie Andrews and Whoopi Goldberg. Composer Wesley Whatley's Emmy Award-winning song “I Believe” was once performed by none other than Kermit the Frog.

Together the songwriting team has recently created Yes, Virginia: The Musical, a Macy's project supporting public school theatre programs. For weeks, Bill and Wesley's new, expanded show has been rehearsed by Twin City Stage Director Cheri Van Loon.

Yes, Virginia the Musical with Music by Wesley Whatley; book & lyrics by William Schermerhorn, and Directed by Cheri Van Loon with Music Direction by Edward C. Kluttz comes to the Arts Council Theatre courtesy of Twin City Stage Friday night, December 19th where it'll remain through Sunday with evening shows at 7 pm and a Sunday matinee at 2 pm. There'll be a letter writing station for children wishing to contact Santa, and for each letter Macy's donates $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
