On today's show we're bringing you a taste of Triad Arts Live. Every once in awhile the Triad Arts Weekend team needs to get out of the studio, and we'd love to take you along for the ride.

Today's musical journey begins with Greensboro musician Britt Harper Uzzell - but you might know him as “Snuzz.” Snuzz can lull you with a lovely ode to the summertime refreshment lemonade, then turn on a dime and make you think via his protest songs such as “North Carolina, You're Better Than This.” We'll hear all sides of Snuzz, and get the stories behind the songs in a conversation with Triad Arts Weekend Executive Producer David Ford. Then we'll dig deep into the rich songbook of Winston-Salem's Jeffrey Dean Foster. He treated us to a live concert back in October, playing stripped down versions of songs from his record “The Arrow.” He was interviewed by David Ford and Eddie Garcia, and we've got the whole shebang coming up about 20 minutes from now. Then we'll close today's show with our latest installment of Triad To Do.

We're bringing the show to the people on Monday, July 27th at Hanesbrands theatre in downtown Winston-Salem. We're having a live taping of Triad Arts at noon, with special musical guests The Tyler Nail Trio. The show is a collaboration between the Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County and 88.5 WFDD.
