The journey of tracing one's family genealogy can be exciting. It can also be a twisted maze of more questions than answers.

Andrea Hunter is an associate professor of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is also director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for the School of Health and Human Sciences. Hunter lives in Greensboro with her husband Ken and their son, Hunter.
