This week Triad audiences will be treated to two evenings of incredible chamber music for cello, violin and piano by three of today's leading soloists. Emerson string quartet violinist Philip Setzer, his former colleague cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han will perform all of Beethoven's Piano Trios beginning tonight, Wednesday, February 17th at 7:30 pm and continuing Thursday, February 18th at 7:30 pm in Brendle Recital Hall. It's part of the Secrest Artists Series. David Finckel spoke with David Ford from his studio in New York about his recent re-mastered recording of Dvorak's cello concerto.

Tonight's performance begins at 7:30pm in Brendle recital Hall on the WFU campus. Beethoven expert, David Levy, will lead a pre-concert talk prior to each concert and speak specifically about the music on the program.  Thursday, the trio returns with the last three of Beethoven's trios.
