On Thursday, September 24th, WFDD held the most recent in its series of Virtual Community Conversations, this one on "Safeguarding Your Vote." WFDD reporter Paul Garber, whose beats include government and politics, moderated a discussion with Karen Brinson Bell, Executive Director of the NC State Board of Elections; Charlie Collicutt, Director of Guilford County Elections; Anna Fesmire, Co-President of the League of Women Voters of the Piedmont Triad; and Tim Tsujii, Director of Forsyth County Elections.

WFDD convened the event to address the many uncertainties surrounding the vote and to answer listener questions, particularly around the topics of absentee voting, in-person voting, and voter intimidation.

The event was streamed on YouTube Live and made available on WFDD's Facebook page and website. An embed of the recorded version of the conversation, including the live chat, is available below.
