Another Presidential candidate will be stumping in North Carolina. Republican Marco Rubio will soon visit Charlotte.  Rubio is coming to the Tarheel State to talk with voters and raise money for his presidential campaign.

The U.S. senator from Florida has scheduled a "meet-and-greet" event late Monday afternoon at a south Charlotte restaurant.

The GOP candidate also is holding a fundraiser that evening at the home of NASCAR team owner Felix Sabates in Charlotte. Participants are asked to donate $1,000 or $2,700, depending on the reception.

Other presidential hopefuls have visited the state over the past week. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush talked about tax policy last week in Garner, while Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders spoke to thousands at a Greensboro rally last Sunday.

The North Carolina presidential primary is expected in mid-March.
