North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is teaming up with Cone Health. Representatives from both institutions will speak at a signing ceremony on Thursday.

The memorandum of understanding, or MOU, will further solidify the two institutions’ partnership in workforce development, clinical education, and research.

Cone Health and A&T have a long history together in clinical training. The new framework will expand collaborative opportunities at a time when the university’s degree offerings in this area are growing.

A&T Chancellor Harold Martin and Cone Health CEO Mary Jo Cagle will discuss the ways in which their agreement will also increase access to community health care and improve outcomes.

The MOU signing ceremony will take place on the A&T campus in the Alumni-Foundation Event Center in Greensboro.
