The University of NC Greensboro continues its Globe & Cosmos series with Keyboard Music from the era of Galileo & Shakespeare. The program for harpsichord and organ will feature 20 contrasting pieces by several 16th century composers from both Italy and England. Pianist, UNCG Professor of Music, and recording artist Andrew Willis has maintained his keen interest in the history of the piano and its performance practice for several decades.

On Sunday afternoon at 3:30 pm he'll be joined by organist Andre Lash, and harpsichordists Stephanie Schmidt, Robin Morace and Marya Fancey during Keyboard Music from the era of Galileo & Shakespeare in Organ Hall on the UNCG campus. Music by Tallis, Byrd, Frescobaldi, Gabrieli and more. It's part of the school's year-long celebration of Shakespeare and Galileo.
