Fire Pink Trio is violist Sheila Browne, flutist Debra Reuter-Pivetta, and harpist Jaquelyn Bartlett.

Their debut album titled Poetry in Motion: Music for Flute, Viola, and Harp is out on the MSR Classics label, and Fire Pink is out to celebrate with its free concert this weekend featuring music from the new CD: Dan Locklair's Dreamsteps, Manuel Moreno-Buendia's Suite Popular Espanola, Sonny Burnette's Cruisin' With the Top Down, and the Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harp by the father of this trio of instruments, Claude Debussy.

The concert is this Friday evening, March 6th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Shirley Recital Hall on the Salem College campus. Fire Pink Trio will be available after the concert to sign your copy of the new CD.

Sheila, Debra, and Jaquelyn sat down with David Ford to discuss everything from the virtuosity of Debussy, the accessibility of Dan Locklair, to the many styles and crafts of Sonny Burnette.
