Norwegian Cruise Line is expanding its at-home agent program in the Triad, in a move that could create as many as 200 full-time jobs.

The company is growing its work-from-home initiative, which currently has employees in Arizona and Florida.

Agents will serve in entry-level positions and will be the first point of contact for guests and travel agents looking to arrange vacations with Norwegian.

According to the cruise line, the initial hiring goal is between 30 and 45 employees, as part of a pilot group for a four-week training period that ends in August.

The hiring process is expected to begin next Wednesday and could take up to 18 months.
