Former Wake Forest women's basketball standout Brooke Thomas returned to the program prior to the start of the 2017-18 season to server as the team's Director of Basketball Operations.

A guard for the Demon Deacons for four seasons, Thomas holds the program record for career assists (513) and ranks second in career steals (252). The native of Orlando, Florida, appeared in 129 career games and made 106 starts, both of which rank second all-time at Wake Forest. Thomas led the Deacs in assists all four years, breaking the freshman assists record with a personal-best 148.

She talked with Radio Camper Maya Webb about what it was like for her to come back as a coach, and her job as the in-game host for the Winston-Salem Dash.
