Across the Blue Ridge #36 - Ukeleles, fiddles, songs and the National Folk Festival

It's a combination of new and old, with a few fun surprises on this week's Across the Blue Ridge.  We hear from bluegrass singer-songwriter Brandon Lee Adams with a song of loss and new awareness.  And we experience some instruments often seen as secondary in old time and bluegrass music:  Gwen Foster and Sonny Terry give us an earful with harmonicas, and five performers from Jimmie Rodgers to Linda Higginbotham show us how much power and fun a ukulele can deliver in old time music.  With the National Folk Festival coming up, there's music from a great bluegrass band on this year's festival, Balsam Range. And we jump back in time to the early days of mountain music recording with Grayson and Whitter.
