Across the Blue Ridge #128 - Blue Ridge Music Center, Mountains of Music

This week, a tremendous selection of old-time mountain, bluegrass and Americana music from bands old and new.  Plus … a visit with Richard Emmett of the Blue Ridge Music Center in Southwest Virginia, where a special concert on June 15 will feature best all-around performers from the famous Galax Old Fiddlers' Convention. It's part of the Mountains of Music Homecoming organized by The Crooked Road, Virginia's Heritage Music Trail and numerous community groups.  This year's music scene in the Blue Ridge region is hopping, and we'll continue to focus on some of the coming events through the summer.
