UNC at Greensboro's Fall Dances opens this week featuring world class choreography by acclaimed UNCG Dance Faculty and by a Bessie Award-winning guest artist.

UNCG Fall Dances begins Thursday night November 20th at 8pm with a Pay-what-you-can Preview. Performances continue through Saturday the 22nd with evening shows at 8pm and Saturday matiness at 2pm.

Duane Cyrus is Associate Professor of Dance at UNCG. He's performed with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Martha Graham Dance Company, the original London cast of The Lion King, and he's the founder director of Vital Grace Project. Duane says the Fall Dances choreography will be in response to the School of Music, Theatre and Dance's 2014-15 season theme The Globe & the Cosmos: Celebrating 450 Years with Galileo & Shakespeare.

Duane shares the inspiration behind reinterpreting Shakespeare through dance, and he announces the Fall Dances guest artist.
