For Christina Roche and her brother Jerry Arias, several countries have been their classrooms.

Some Americans experience traveling abroad when they're young.  But Jerry Arias and his sister, Christina Roche, spent many years living and growing up in several different Latin American countries in addition to living in the United States.

Now they co-own Language Links, Inc. in Winston-Salem. They teach foreign languages and providing translations services.

Recently they shared some of their experiences on StoryLine. This is a project of the ECHO Network, giving voice to everyday people throughout our community as they share the experiences that shape their lives. Roche and Arias say there are a lot of  benefits being raised in a multicultural environment.
