A WFDD Original

Let's Talk About It

First Friday of the month, during Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

Awkward. Difficult. Challenging. However you want to describe it, there are certain things we choose not to talk about. That old maxim “no politics or religion at the dinner table” has never felt more real than now.  Let’s Talk About It is an interactive segment that builds dialogue skills and responds to listeners’ questions and concerns as they learn how to tackle tough conversation topics. Nationally renowned dialogue facilitator Dr. David Campt and WFDD’s David Ford will pick a topic sent by listeners, discuss best practices and share dialogue tips.

Maybe the Thanksgiving table has felt more like a debate stage the past few years, or perhaps you feel like your voice is undervalued or unheard in discussion with others. Tell us your conversation concerns and successes for the chance to be featured on the show. Complete the form here, send us an email to letstalk@wfu.edu, or leave us a voicemail message at 336-758-8885.
