Forsyth Humane Society Partnership: Paw Packs and a Pawty!
On Monday, October 2nd we are partnering with Attorney Charlie Hall to give 200 foster packs to the Forsyth Human Society. And, for every gift you give to WFDD a Paw Pack will be donated to FHS. These packs include anything a foster family may need to care for their foster animal. This could be kitty litter, food, crates, toys, leashes. and more!
We would love for you to join us on October 2nd from 3:00-6:30pm at East of Texas, in Winston-Salem for a celebration of community. As a bonus, we will be broadcasting live from East of Texas! Our friends at the Forsyth Humane Society will be there too. This will be a great time to show up for your community! There will be games to play and you can mingle with the WFDD and Forsyth Humane Society staff.

If you make a $180 one-time gift or $15/month Sustainer gift on October 2nd you will be able to choose a WFDD leash or pet bowl as a thank you gift.
- This is our light gray Truth is Power leash with bright WFDD branding. The leash is 6ft. long and 3/4 inch wide. And, the pet bowl features our logo in white on one side and Truth is Power on the other side. The bowl is 2" H and 7" W and holds 8 oz.
WFDD Fall 2023 Giveaways
As always, we've got some fun giveaways happening during the 2023 WFDD Fall Fund Drive! Here's what's coming:
Power Hours: $200 gas card giveaway after each power hour
- All Sustainers are automatically entered as well as anyone who makes a gift during that Power Hour
- Power hour dates and times: 9/26 8am, 9/27 noon, 9/28 5pm
Tuesday, October 3rd: $500 Grocery Gift Card
- All Sustainers are automatically entered as well as anyone who makes a gift on October 3rd by 6:30 pm.
Wednesday, October 4th: Look Up and Listen VIP Experience for four
- Look Up and Listen is a WFDD signature event at Hanging Rock state park on October 21st, 2023. It's an evening of s'mores, stories and star gazing. Learn more here.
- VIP picnic seating with chairs, a blanket, and a cooler full of refreshing beverages as well as snacks. There will be a WFDD swag bag waiting for you.
- Dinner will be taken care of
- You'll have a meet and greet with WFDD staff. Maybe you have some Carolina Curious idea's you'd love to share with the news team or you want to challenge them to a game of corn hole!
- All Sustainers are automatically entered as well as anyone who makes a gift on October 4th by 6:30pm
Thursday, October 5th: $1000 Visa Gift Card
