UNC School of the Arts: Alexander Kobrin in Recital

Guest Artist Series // Since winning the Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn Competition in 2005, pianist Alexander Kobrin has performed around the world in recitals and as soloist with leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic and the BBC Symphony. He also serves on the faculty of the Eastman School of Music. Kobrin’s performance will feature the Schumann Arabesque Op.18, Brahms Sonata Op.5 and Schubert’s Sonata in G Major.

Before the recital, Professor Kobrin will lead a master class: 4:00 PM at Watson Hall, no ticket required.
