WFU Professor Discusses Margaret Thatcher's Legacy
Former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, the only woman to hold that job, died Monday at the age of 87. Queen Elizabeth has authorized a ceremonial funeral, one step short of a state funeral, for Thatcher, who was revered by some and reviled by others. David Coates, Worrell Professor of Ango-American Studies at Wake Forest University's department of politics and international studies, was born in the United Kingdom and has written extensively on UK labor politics. In this interview with WFDD's Audrey Fannin, Coates shares his thoughts on Thatcher's passing.
