Then it's Durham-based MC Taylor and Hiss Golden Messenger. MC is one of the finest songwriters in America today. David Bowie described MC's latest LP Poor Moon as, "...mystical country, like an eerie yellowing photograph." And then, it's the Grammy Award winning Athens, Georgia based singer/songwriter, producer and front man for the Drive-By Truckers, Patterson Hood. The Drive-By Truckers are heading to Winston-Salem for a two night gig, June 28th and 29th at Ziggy's.
