This weekend at UNC Greensboro the campus-wide celebration of the 450th birthdays of Shakespeare and Galileo “The Message and the Cosmos” continues with a big thematic concert. The performance will feature the UNCG's Symphony, 160 voice choir, acclaimed mezzo-soprano, Professor Clara O' Brien, and 4 student soloists conducted by Assistant Professor of Choral Music Carole Ott, and Associate Professor of Conducting Kevin Geraldi.

David Ford spoke with UNC Greensboro Associate Professor of Conducting Kevin Geraldi. On Sunday, October 5th beginning at 3:30 PM in UNCG's Aycock Auditorium, Kevin and Assistant Professor of Choral Music Carole Ott will conduct “Shakespeare: East and West”. The concert of orchestral and choral music is free and open to the public. It'll feature music by Ravel, Nicolai, Vaughan Williams and conclude with The Here and Now by Christopher Theofanidis'. Chris will lead a pre-concert conversation at 2:30 PM from the concert stage.
