Pamela Howland is a pianist, her husband Wendell Myers is a painter. This week they'll combine artistic forces to celebrate Chopin Birthday Festival from Warsaw to Winston-Salem, bringing the year's old tradition from Chopin's homeland to the Triad. On Friday it's Night Music Part 2, a unique concert with Pam playing selections from her new CD of  Frederick Chopin's Nocturnes 11 through 19, and a painting exhibition of Wendell's 8 nocturne-inspired works. Night Music will take place in the beautiful Wake Forest Biotech Place Atrium followed the next day with Chopin's birthday festival program. For years Pam has been combining art forms including poetry, theatre, music and film to enhance audience engagement. During Night Music, Wendell's paintings, each based on a specific Chopin nocturne, will be projected on an enormous screen during Pam's performance.
