Lorena Guillen Tango Duo Performs at Green Hill Art Gallery
Lorena Guillen Tango Duo is Buenos Aires natives singer Lorena Guillen and her husband pianist/composer Alejandro Rutty. In addition to being excellent performers of authentic Argentine Tango, the two UNCG professors are also accomplished scholars. You’ll find Lorena’s articles on Tango and Astor Piazolla in the revered Grove Dictionary of American Music (2nd edition), and Alejandro’s compositions and arrangements have been performed by leading orchestras across the country and around the world. You can hear them live in concert Friday, March 7, 6:30 in the Green Hill Art Gallery of the Greensboro Cultural Center. Admission is free.
