The art of comedy is alive and well in the Triad and much of the credit goes to The Idiot Box Comedy Club in Greensboro.

There you'll find a veritable beehive of activity going on year-round, like their monthly Knuckleheads production—an all-ages, kid friendly show with stand up, improv and sketch. They offer stand up and improvisation classes as well, and every year the Idiot Box presents the Ultimate Comic Challenge Competition. Past UCC winners have gone on to open for some of the most critically acclaimed comedians in the country including Mike Epps, and Doug Stanhope.

You can see and hear incredible comedic talent just about every day of the week at the Idiot Box 348 South Elm Street in Greensboro. Open Mic night is Thursday, there's Stand Up and Improv Comedy Friday and Saturday nights, with weeknight classes in stand-up, and improv as well.

Former Comic Challenge winners Eric Trundy and Jourdain Fisher are joined by Idiot Box Founder, comedian Steve Lesser. The comedians discuss stand-up as a dialogue rather than a monologue and how to read one's audience.
