The live performance duo Letters from Home honors veterans, active military and their families across the country by paying tribute to the music and spirit of the 1940s. Their new album is “Thanks for the Memories”, and we sample from it in today's show.

Thanks to the Pat Dearth Memorial Veterans Performance Fund, Letters from Home has been touring this music along with their dance, tap, and theatre acts all across the country. You can catch them in performance Friday, May 29th at 1pm during the Second Spring Arts Festival. The free event will be in Hanesbrands Theatre in Winston-Salem. On Saturday, May 30th at 1:30pm Letters from Home will perform at the Surry Arts Council Blackmon Amphitheater hosted by Surry County Veterans. The event is from 10-4.

Creator and choreographer Erinn Diaz is a national tap dance champion who's toured with Cirque productions. She's joined by her husband, Letters from Home Manager Nelson Diaz, and Musical Director Serah Haley.
