Hispanic League Fiesta 2015 coming up this weekend in Winston-Salem means Hispanic dance, art, cuisine, community, activities for children, and then there's the live music.

And as always with Fiesta it's not just any music. This year it'll be award-winning Bomba & Plena music performed by the legendary band Los Pleneros de la 21. LP21 fuses "down home" Afro-Puerto Rican traditions with contemporary and urban sounds to showcase the versatility and complexities of the Latino experience in the US.

LP21 is led by National Heritage Fellow award winner Juan J. Gutiérrez, and you can hear them live at the 23rd free annual Fiesta in downtown Winston-Salem from noon to 7pm on Saturday, September 26th. It's an open invitation to experience Latin art, culture, music, authentic food, with children's areas and more.

Hispanic League Executive Director Mari Jo Turner says this exciting, percussion and brass-driven music is also designed to make you dance, so bring comfortable shoes, and clothes that let you move.
