Greensboro Fire Dept. Will Conduct Live Fire Training

The Greensboro Fire Department will conduct live fire training tomorrow (Friday June 28) at 2224 West Florida Street.

As a result, Rainbow Drive will be blocked at Florida Street.  The training exercises are scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM, and should wrap up at about 2:00 PM.  Those in the area are likely to notice large amounts of heavy smoke from time to time, but it should not present any hazard to the public.

The Greensboro Fire Department says all of the structures they use for live fire training meet compliance with NC DENR-Air Quality, and North Carolina Public Health regulations.
