Forecast music is an adventurous new music group founded in Brooklyn, NY in 2001.

Forecast now calls Winston-Salem home, and it's roster includes some of the world's finest composers and performers living right here in our state. Forecast Music's mission is to present innovative American music in both traditional concert halls as well as venues that might surprise you. For example, cutting edge new music at The Community Arts Café in Winston-Salem. That will be the site of Forecast's final concert of the season this Friday evening, May 24th at 8:00pm. Featured in the performance will be the work of this year's national call for scores winner, George Heathco of Texas. Homegrown Piedmont Triad music will include works by Lance Hulme, Trevor Bumgarner, and University of NC School of the Arts Music Director for the School of Dance, award-winning composer and Forecast co-Founder Eric Schwartz.
