Jon Shain is a folk musician who combines great storytelling and lyrics with fiery guitar technique and a healthy dose of the blues.

During his East Coast tours, he's opened sold out shows for artists from Little Feat to Keb' Mo'. He's headed to the Triad this weekend courtesy of The Fiddle & Bow Society. His latest album “Reupholstered” features a nice blend of styles and sounds from folk and blues, to bluegrass and the great American songbook.

The concert is Friday night, August 7th at 8 in the Muddy Creek Music Hall in Winston-Salem. Shain'll be joined in concert by Ecki Heins on fiddle and mandolin, and FJ Ventre on upright bass.
