Singer, songwriter and mellotron player Amanda Lindsey is a recent graduate of the UNC Chapel Hill archeology & biology programs. These studies spill into her music in unique and unexpected ways. Her debut album Wish Vehicles is filled with songs about literal and metaphorical excavation, ritual, exploration of the earth and the heart, and pop songs that journey deep into the cosmos. It was recorded in collaboration with Mitch Easter at The Fidelitorium, the storied recording studio that Amanda also manages.
