In the early 1950's, Dr. Olin and Ellen Perryman decided to build their dream home in Winston-Salem. After looking through several Better Homes and Gardens plans, Dr. Perryman and his uncle designed a structure unlike any other in the neighborhood.  Firm, clean lines, sharp angles, open spaces welcoming in the outdoor light and a warm wood interior. Over the years, it's become known as 'The Perryman House'. The couple lived here for more than 30 years and raised two daughters.

But things change. Dr. Perryman is deceased. And their daughters, Marcia and Sharon, are grown. Ellen is 88 years old and lives in Salem Town. Now 'The Perrryman House' is home to Robbie and Joan King.
In this segment of StoryLine, Ellen talks with Robbie about the home both families dearly love.
