Every summer The Blue Ridge Music Center hosts the Roots of American Music Concert Series. The concerts take place in their beautiful outdoor amphitheater at the base of Fisher Peak, from late May through September.

The Roots of American Music Concert Series continues on Saturday night, July 25th at 7pm with The Church Sisters and Pike City Bluegrass live in the outdoor amphitheatre. They're located at Mile Post 213 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, near the Virginia - North Carolina state line, just about an hour from the Triad.

Program Director Richard Emmett sat down with Eddie Garcia to talk about the series.
