The Mountains of Music Homecoming is just around the bend. The movable feast of roots music takes place in communities around southwestern Virginia June 9-17. This week we hear selections from performers at the first Homecoming in 2015. Jack Hinshelwood, director of The Crooked Road Heritage Music Trail, also heads up the Homecoming. He joins us for a conversation about The Crooked Road, traditional music in Virginia, and the importance of the Homecoming to the region's economy and quality of life.
