Befriending the Enemy

 StoryLine gives voice to everyday people throughout our community as they share the experiences that shape their lives.  It is a project of the ECHO Network, dedicated to building trusting relationships in our community.  Gerry Reinhardt was drafted into World War II when he was 20 years old. His primary duty was to build bridges. In this segment of StoryLine, Reinhardt describes to his good friend Molly North one unusual encounter with some German soldiers during the Battle of the Bulge.
